A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE MY 13TH ANNUAL  BENEFIT CIGAR DINNER  FOR LOCAL CHARITY A HUGE SUCCESS!

Welcome to Holy-Smoke.  I am glad that you have found your way to my cigar website.  I hope you enjoy your visit.

NEWS ALERT TO ALL CIGAR SMOKERS:

I recently got back from the Annual IPCPR (International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers) trade show.  If you didn't know it already I am the Chaplain for the IPCPR.  It was great to see all my friends in the cigar family and catch up with them.  One of the most talked about things as I visited with the makers and the retailers was the issue of smoking bans.  Folks, it's time to act and act now. Wherever you are in the world, communicate your feelings about your rights to smoke cigars to those who make the laws. The effort to snuff us out is growing more and more and it has deep, deep pockets to fund all their efforts of advertising and lobbying.  We need to voice our opinions as well. Contact your local tobacconists for information about what you can do in your local communities.  Soon I will be posting a link to the Cigar Rights of America website.  I would ask and encourage all of you to get signed up and become a member today in an effort to keep our voice alive and heard amongst the legislators of this nation.

NEWS ALERT TO ALL KANSAS CIGAR SMOKERS:

E-MAIL, CALL AND WRITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES  A.S.A.P.   NEW EFFORTS ARE IN THE WORKS FOR A STATEWIDE SMOKING BAN TO BE MADE LAW THIS NEXT LEGISLATIVE SESSION.  MAKE SURE KANSAS STATE GOVERNMENT LEADERS REPRESENTING YOU KNOW THAT YOU EXPECT THEM TO SUPPORT YOUR RIGHTS TO CONSUME A LEGAL PRODUCT AT BUSINESSES THAT CHOOSE TO GIVE YOU THAT OPPORTUNITY.  SUGGEST TO THEM IF THEY HAVE TO HAVE LEGISLATION THEN ASK THEM TO STUDY THE WICHITA ORDINANCE THAT IS NOW IN PLACE HERE IN WICHITA.  IT IS A COMPROMISE ORDINANCE NOT COMPREHENSIVE.  AND IT IS WORKING!!!

WICHITA CIGARS SMOKERS  BY NOW YOU KNOW WE HAVE A NEW SMOKING ORDINANCE ON THE BOOKS IN THE CITY OF WICHITA.  While most establishments in our city have chosen to go smoke free; as we thought many would, it is important to remember that business owners that want to offer their patrons a smoking environment still have that ability under the current ordinance.  Many of those who have decided to be smoker friendly have had to make significant sacrifices and faced exorbitant  expenditures  to do so.    THEREFORE WE OWE IT TO THEM TO PATRONIZE THEIR BUSINESSES. Please show your support of those who have supported us by frequenting their establishments and telling them how much you appreciate their willingness to provide a smoker friendly environment.

If you have comments about the new ordinance, you can direct them to the members of the Wichita City Council:

CBrewer@wichita.gov  LKWilliams@wichita.gov  SShlapp@wichita.gov       JSkelton@wichita.gov           PGray@wichita.gov              JLongwell@wichita.gov           JLMiller@wichita.gov

I appreciate all the questions and comments that you send me.  I know that sometimes I just can't get them answered quickly.  For that I am really sorry.  Please be patient with me and I will get those answered as soon as I can.

Well, thanks for taking time to visit.  Hope you enjoy!  I don't know about you, but I think it's time to light one up!  Or as my older brother Dan likes to say:  "It's time to burn one!"

Remember...

Keep Your Smoking Holy!
