The reason I have this web site and the reason I have this page on the web site is for those of us that enjoy cigars who would like to know more about them and the world of cigars in general. As a native of the Wichita area I feel it is very important that those of us in the "Cigar Community" do our part in keeping it available to us, while at the same time being sensitive to those who do not wish to share in our passion for cigars. Therefore I cannot stress the importance enough about our loyalty to those who provide this community (the Wichita area) with cigar opportunities, namely retailers, restaurants, bars, lounges and various events such as cigar dinners.

We should make it a priority to be supportive of these businesses especially with the current government trends and efforts to eliminate cigar smoking from our society. If you are smoking cigars like I enjoy, then you are very well informed about the fact that cigars are legal, that they are enjoyed in moderation and they are something we appreciate and are not addicted to. At the same time because of our understanding and maturity, we also know that too much of anything can be harmful, even cigar smoke. But we are a people of moderation, not addiction. We are not afraid to look at and admit all the facts about cigars objectively and continue our passion in moderation. Therefore we likewise must do our part in maintaining our rights and privileges of appreciating premium cigars not only at home, but also in public places. This is why it is imperative that we support those businesses in the Wichita area that accommodate our love of cigars just as they accommodate those who smoke cigarettes and those who do not smoke at all. I am the first to respect the fact that we are all different in our views towards smoking. But we should also have the right as legal adults (smoking something that is legal such as cigars), to enjoy them at public gatherings in sections that are provided for just as they are provided to cigarette smokers and non smokers alike. When those accommodations are refused to the cigar smoker, then I feel we should seriously discern whether we want to or should be supportive of that business. This is why we must be loyal to those who choose to provide the Wichita cigar smoker with such accommodations. If we do not support their business, we may lose their presence in our community. That my dear friends would prove disastrous for those of us wishing to enjoy a premium cigar after dinner without having to go home first. Think about it. If you are not supporting CIGAR FRIENDLY ESTABLISHMENTS in the Wichita area, you run the risk of losing them. This page is devoted to those businesses in our area that are truly cigar friendly. Please support them in your appreciation for fine cigars.
