This beautifully handcrafted work of art has been created by Wichita artist Ra’oul Del Castillo. Mr. Castillo is known in the local community as an award-winning artist for his sculptures and pottery. This particular work of art was created for those individuals who appreciate the many pleasures that cigar smoking provide. The idea for this work came from Father H Setter, a well-known cigar connoisseur who has been featured in Cigar Aficionado magazine for his love and appreciation of premium cigars. In addition to providing the idea for this art, the hand used for the mold is that of Father H. The sculpture is made of hydrastone which is then coated with a bronze patina and finally hi-lighted with gold. Because every work is bronzed and hi-lighted by hand, each sculpture brings with it a special uniqueness of individual beauty. The finished work of art is mounted on a solid walnut base for attractive display. The hand stands approximately 12-14 inches in height. Being created individually these works come with a numbered and signed statement of authenticity by Mr. Castillo and Father Setter.
